Leadership

Leadership

Vertex Atomic's leadership team draws from regulatory bodies, international legal practice, program finance, and multilateral institutions. That range is deliberate — a nuclear program's hardest problems are rarely engineering problems; they are institutional, legal, and sequencing problems, and our leadership bench reflects that.

Sajid Khan, Founder & Director

Founder & Director · Islamabad, Pakistan

Sajid Khan is the Founder and Director of Vertex Atomic. With 6+ years of experience spanning telecommunications, mobile financial services, KYC/AML compliance, and digital platform development, he brings a regulator's discipline for compliance frameworks and an operator's understanding of high-volume transaction environments to the nuclear program advisory domain.

His career has been defined by managing institutional risk at scale — directing KYC onboarding for 3,000+ customers monthly across four major Pakistani telecom networks, overseeing mobile cash and digital wallet operations averaging PKR 1 million+ in monthly volume, and reconciling retailer-level transaction processing at network-recorded volumes of approximately 10 million transactions per month.

Sajid has completed global-development and regulatory-standards coursework through the UN Global Compact Academy, UNITAR/UNEP, and ICMPD, providing the international-standards foundation that informs Vertex Atomic's alignment with IAEA and multilateral institutional frameworks. He is currently pursuing a BBA in Accounting & Finance at IMSciences Peshawar and founded SK Ideanox Digital, a five-platform AI and fintech ecosystem with 12,000+ organic followers.
